By using Clipa Video you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are between you and Clipa Video.
The service
Clipa Video lets you cut sections from publicly available YouTube videos, cut clips from video files you upload, and generate transcripts. Features and limits differ between the free plan and Pro, as described on the pricing page.
Your responsibility for content
You may only cut, download or upload content that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for complying with copyright law and with the YouTube Terms of Service. We do not grant you any rights in content you process through the service.
- Do not use the service to infringe copyright or other rights.
- Do not attempt to process private, members-only, age-restricted or DRM protected videos.
- Do not overload, scrape, reverse engineer or disrupt the service.
- Do not use automated tools to access the service without our written permission.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping access to your account email secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at support@clipavideo.com if you think your account has been misused.
Pro and billing
Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
We may change prices for future billing periods and will tell you before a change affects you.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Processing can be affected by changes YouTube makes to its platform, which are outside our control.
Our intellectual property
The site, its design, code and branding belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders.
